14 th Feb is round the corner. Valentine's Day, the day of love, the day meant to celebrate love. People try very hard to make this day as special as possible. They put in all efforts to make this day memorable for their loved ones. It really feels awesome when you spend time with your loved ones, bring them gifts, plan a surprise or outing etc. Its mostly our friends or family that we like to be with on this special day of love.
Love indeed is a beautiful feeling. It makes you receptive, of all the good things in life. It helps to bring out the goodness hidden in you deep down. It means no boundary, no set definition, no limits but then, why do we have to hold a narrow approach towards love & who we share our love with? Is it just our friends or family who need or deserve our love & care? There could be various aspects which deserve our care & attention only if we bother to look around us.
There are millions of people both elderly & young who are not that privileged. They don't have anyone to make them feel special. They don't have anybody to share their joys & sorrows, going through days & nights lonely either in an orphanage or old age home. Why not reach out to such people & share our love with them? If a little gesture from our side can bring a smile on their faces that would be the best gift for anyone from anyone. So why not give it a try this time, be generous.
On this Valentine's Day do something different. Celebrate love by sharing it with those less fortunate ones. Gift a smile, the most precious gift of all :)
