Making such a statement might sound as if am being arrogant but if we go deep & feel than there is more to it. I feel, to appreciate any kind of beauty we need the right kind of vision. Usually we get caught up in the outer covering because of our limited vision & fail to go beyond the obvious. Actually we need to see through the outer shell to recognize the beauty lying underneath every creature on this planet.
As the saying goes 'beauty lies in the eyes of beholder' when we appreciate beauty its not the thing or the person that is beautiful but its our own outlook towards it that makes all the difference. To recognize & appreciate goodness in others, is actually giving a chance to our own goodness to shine through. We need to allow our goodness to come out by shedding all our pride, ego, hesitation etc & giving it a channel of expression.
Lets allow the beauty hidden in us to unveil,
try praising someone everyday! :-)

Reason to be happy!
Few days back while talking to one of my closest friend one of her question struck my mind. She asked me 'hows life!', i said enthusiastically 'life is great!' to which she asked why? what happened? i was surprised by her question. It gave me a picture as if she was expecting me to have a reason to be happy or enthusiastic about life. Is it necessary?
All our lives we are looking for happiness, all our endeavours are directed towards being happy at the end. But what we don't realise is that being happy is not an end but the means itself. If we can't feel happiness while doing something how do we expect to be happy after that endeavour is over? Isn't it similar to running after shadow?
I feel being happy is our very nature whereas sadness, anger, frustration, tension & all other negative emotions need a hanger or a reason. When all such reasons are sorted out, what remains is pure happiness.
Most of us are always looking for it outside however the source lies inside us & we don't even appreciate it.... :-)
